Why I’m Running for ESU 3

“I am running for the ESU 3 Board because I believe parents deserve to understand what ESU 3 is doing, how its resources are supporting our schools and what progress we are making for students.“

“I want to bring greater transparency and accessibility to the Board and give parents someone they can have an actual conversation with. That means listening to parents, understanding their concerns and priorities, and making it easier for families to see how ESU 3 is supporting their local schools.”

“As a former teacher, I also understand how important it is for educators to have effective tools, resources and training. I want to ensure those resources are reaching the districts that need them, that teacher training respects the values and priorities of parents and local communities, and that we remain focused on helping our students learn, grow and succeed.“

Dale believes Educational Service Units have an important responsibility to support local school districts and educators. He is running for the ESU 3 Board because he believes his experience can contribute to stronger educational outcomes and effective support for teachers and students.

Dale has identified improving educational results as one of the primary reasons for his candidacy. He believes the services and resources provided through the ESU should support the educational outcomes districts are working to achieve.

Dale believes ESU resources should be distributed based on the needs of each individual district.

Tools & Training for Teachers

Dale believes ESU 3 has an important role in providing teachers with tools and training that help educators and students thrive. His own classroom experience gives him firsthand familiarity with the work teachers do.

Parents & Local Values

Dale believes teacher training should respect the parental values of the districts being served. He believes the priorities and values of local communities should remain part of the conversation about the services and training provided to their districts.
