Dale describes God as being at the center of his life.He and his wife, Terina E. Brandsberg, have been married for 38 years. They have two daughters, Courtney Bruehl and Ciera Brandsberg, and two grandchildren, Charlotte Bruehl and Camden Bruehl. Originally from Southern California, Dale has settled in Omaha, Nebraska.

Education

Dale spent four years teaching in the Rio del Valle School District in Oxnard, California.He also coached basketball at both the high-school and junior-college levels. Those experiences gave Dale direct experience working with students and educators.

Business Leadership

For the past 14 years, Dale has served as a general manager in the restaurant industry.His experience includes overseeing more than 60 employees and restaurant operations with approximately $6.3 million in annual sales.

Why He’s Running

Dale is seeking the District 5 seat on the ESU 3 Board because he believes he can contribute his experience in education and management to the work of the Educational Service Unit. He believes ESU resources, tools and training should effectively support teachers, students and the districts they serve.
